SUMMARY
A popup appearing while KDE's file picker dialog is open appears to permanently
darken the window below.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Firefox. Find an image, and save it.
2. Save that same image again and select "yes" to overriding the already-saved
file.
3. Observe that the browser window is darkened, as if a popup was visible,
despite no popups being visible.
You need to ensure that the KDE file picker is in use by Firefox.
OBSERVED RESULT
The browser window is darkened, as if a popup was visible, despite no popups
being visible.
It is still interactable.
EXPECTED RESULT
The window should not be darkened.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux 6.12.74-lts
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.23.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I am not sure the version this behavior first started appearing on -- I only
recently got Firefox to use the KDE file picker instead of the GTK picker.
It appears to be a KWin problem rather than a Firefox problem, as evidenced by
these two screenshots. The darkened one is reflective of how the application
appears and was captured by KDE's free screenshot functionality, while the
undarkened one was captured by KDE's "Screenshot Window" functionality.
