If I disconnect right at 5% it doesn't dim but it does show the "critical battery" alert. If I disconnect on 6% and above then it dims when the charger is disconnected. And I can't reproduce the dimming right now that I want to catch the exact behavior. I've crossed 5% too many times now and it works inconsistently as stated above. I don't know if the above is intended, dimming seems to work when it's "from low down to critical" but not just "below critical" which does seem like a potential bug to fix.
