Same symptoms as bug 490577, which was fixed by commit 7e23386d.
However the issue persists on KWin 6.4.5 (Kubuntu 25.04).
- Wayland→X11 clipboard stops working intermittently
- xclip shows: "Error: target STRING not available"
- X11→Wayland direction always works
- "qdbus6 org.kde.KWin /KWin reconfigure" temporarily fixes it
- Copying from an X11 window also temporarily fixes it
- Right-click→Copy works more often than Ctrl+C (timing-dependent)
This suggests another race condition or stuck state remains
in src/xwayland/clipboard.cpp beyond what 7e23386d addressed.
