SUMMARY
When "Switching layout affects" set to "Current window only" and "Use keyboard
LED to show alternative layout" is enabled, switching between windows which use
different layouts, results in delays between window activation and the LED
state update (approx. 1 s). This is too slow and leads to confusion. This
began with Plasma 6.6, as far as I can remember.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set "Switching layout affects" to "Current window only".
2. Enable "Use keyboard LED to show alternative layout" option.
3. Open app 1 and switch keyboard layout to the alternative one.
4. Open another window.
5. Switch between these windows.
OBSERVED RESULT
Keyboard LED indicator updates lag.
EXPECTED RESULT
Keyboard LED indicator updates immidiately.
