Thanks for the file and the screen recording, those are helpful. It looks like
Gwenview hadn't crashed, but it was non-responsive and triggered the KWin Kill
Helper

Steps from the recording:
Double click the test graphic to open in Gwenview
Right click - copy
Click Application Menu
Click close on Gwenview - it is unresponsive
KWin Kill Helper appears saying "filename - 7%" of Gwenview is not
responding....
Click Terminate Gwenview

I can reproduce this on Plasma 6.6.3 if I click Close in Gwenview a bunch of
times
The KWin Kill Helper appears, but then quickly disappears when the copy
operation is complete

With Gwenview and Plasma built from git-master, I can reproduce this the first
time the file is opened, but not subsequent times

I also noticed that the Application Menu would not open on either system during
the copy operation
This looks like the root cause of the problem - the copy operation blocking
other operations.

Those more familiar with this will need to look into it further.
