SUMMARY
I tried using the Krita 5.3.0 appimage on Linux Mint and it just never loads.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download the appimage.
2. Make the appimage executable.
3. Double click.
OBSERVED RESULT
Krita gets stuck "Loading resources." After 15 minutes I gave up waiting, as
would most users.
EXPECTED RESULT
Krita loads.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
I'm on Linux Mint.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Krita 5.2.2 loads normally, and even if you delete the resources directory it
doesn't take 5 minutes to finish creating the database.
For the sake of this bug report I created a separate user account on linux mint
to try to run Krita 5.3.0 "for the first time." It still got stuck. I have
attached a zipped folder with the Krita files before I terminated Krita. It
includes krita.log, kritadisplayrc, kritarc, krita-sysinfo.log, and
resourcecache.sqlite (modified to fit as an attachment).
