I know this is a very old bug but feel it is still relevant. A decent number of
laptops come with a microphone mute led.

Would be nice if the ability to toggle it would be integrated into Plasma. so
that the state of the led corresponds with the microphone being muted or not. 

In my case, I believe this is standard but could be different places the LED
can be toggled by changing "/sys/class/leds/platform::micmute/brightness"
between 1 and 0.  On boot the led is turned on, and muting / unmuting does not
change it's state.

Even if some other config does the same, one extra check for the state of the
led can't hurt too much. 
But if it's out of scope, also fair enough.
