Additional search group added to subtract all People tags
SUMMARY
I am sorting through huge decades long archive of photos, a huge proportion of
which has people in it. Face recognition tool performs miracles on them and
takes reasonable time to scan batch images. Since auto-tagging is so much
(orders of magnitude) slower I want to use auto-tagging only on images without
people.
I have tried building advanced search --- selecting albums and image type in
one Search Group, turning on and off "Return items without face regions"
option. Search returns images with recognized faces set to "Ignored". When
opening image face square is shown, with "Ignored" marker near it.
I have added second search group --- subtracting all tags in "People" group
from search results, without success.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Find album(s) with Face Recognition tags set to "Ignored" state
2. Use advanced search with option "Return items without face regions" turned
on
3. Add additional search group, with "AND" and "None of these conditions are
met" ("Any of" does not make difference) and select all tags in "People"
category, including "Ignored"
OBSERVED RESULT
Query returns photos with people faces set to "Ignored" or "Unknown" states.
EXPECTED RESULT
1. Tags are listed in tag tree, so they should be filtered out (at least with
additional search added).
2. "Return items without face regions" should be renamed to "Return items
without *recognized* face regions" or not return any photos with face markers
at all (getting both options would be perfect :) ).
