            Bug ID: 520029
Summary: Changing the keyboard shortcut for Pick: Rejected only
applies to the Thumbnails view, not the Light Table or
                    Survey views.
    Classification: Applications
           Product: digikam
      Version First 9.0.0

          Platform: MacPorts
                OS: macOS
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Usability-Keyboard

  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION

I changed the keyboard shortcut for Pick: Rejected. The change only applies to
the Thumbnails view, not the Light Table or Survey views.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. On macOS, go up to the menu at the top left of the screen, select Settings
> Configure Keyboard Shortcuts.
2. Change the shortcut for Assign Pick Label "Rejected" to Opt-X.

OBSERVED RESULT

The change is applied only to the Thumbnails view, not the Light Table or
Survey views.

EXPECTED RESULT

I expected the change should be applied to all views.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: macOS Tahoe 6.4.1 (25E253)
Qt Version: (supplied with digiKam-9.0.0-Qt6-MacOS-arm64.pkg)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The default is Opt-1, but I can't use that because I use it to change virtual
screens ("Spaces") on the Mac; the Mac intercepts the keypress and changes the
virtual screen, and DigiKam never receives the keypress. Having changed the
keyboard shortcut, I expect the new shortcut to work everywhere. As it is, I
can't use "pick" in the Light Table and Survey views.

I am new to DigiKam, and this is unsettling and makes me wonder if I should
persevere.
