            Bug ID: 520044
Summary: 'Identify Screens' text get clipped with very long
                    monitor names on narrow screens
    Classification: Applications
           Product: systemsettings
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_kscreen
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

I have a 1080p monitor with shoddy firmware and the name given to them by
Plasma, read from EDID I believe, is something like 'Invalid Vendor Codename -
RTK [a bunch of numbers] HDMI A-4'.

I actually have two of them, and the only distinguishing portion is that one
ends with saying A-4 and one says A-5.

The screens in question are 19 inch portable monitors that I have rotated
vertically, so physically the 'horizontal' screen width is a mere 1080px
across.

When I click 'identify screens' the textbox that shows which screen is which is
rendered horizontally across the middle of the monitor, but because it is
physically narrow only the middle part of the text can be seen and the only
portion that tells the two apart get cut off.
