DESCRIPTION
If the number of files in the current directory changes due to external factors
while the user is renaming a file e.g. by pressing F2, the position of the
rename text entry stays the same even if the file which is being renamed has
moved to a different position in the view. This happens regardless of the view
being set to "Icons", "Compact" or "Details". This is merely a visual bug and
doesn't affect the actual renaming. I found this bug as I was renaming a file
in my Downloads folder while downloading another file, so this is how I'll
describe the reproduction process.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start downloading a file that will take long enough for you to complete the
following step
2. Start renaming a file in the Downloads folder (or wherever you are
downloading to) that is located after where the new file will be put.
3. Wait for the download to finish.
OBSERVED RESULT
In my case the *.part file associated with the file I was downloading vanished,
so all files after this file moved one position forward. The text entry for
renaming stays in the same place though, which makes it appear as if you were
editing the file one position after the one you are actually editing.
EXPECTED RESULT
The text entry moves together with the file it is associated with.
