[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version First|6.6.4 |6.6.5 Reported In| | --- Comment #32 from [email protected] --- CRITICAL UPDATE - The "Ghost Status" (Plasma 6.6.5): I have encountered an even more confusing failure mode on the latest update. The scenario: 1. The "Green Shield" (Applying autonomous updates) appeared in the system tray. 2. However, no actual progress was made. 3. When opening Discover, all 52 packages (506.9 MiB) were still listed as pending. 4. I was forced to manually click "Update All" inside Discover to actually start the installation process. Conclusion: This confirms that the "Autonomous" mode is now providing false visual feedback. The UI indicates that updates are being applied in the background (Green Shield), but the backend remains idle. The feature is not just erratic or delayed anymore; it is misleading the user about the actual state of the system updates. System Information (Updated again): - OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed (20260515) - KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.5 - KDE Frameworks Version: 6.26.0 - Qt Version: 6.11.0 - Kernel Version: 7.0.6-1-default - Graphics Platform: X11 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
