--- Comment #8 from Pascal Garcia <[email protected]> --- But the problem is also gone with the normal user. What I am happy for. And the PC works very fine but this Wayland generic icon showed by different applications. What is strange is that I did nothing that explain this. I hope it will not break with some update. But with the other PC the problem is different. The task bar is gone. I compared the packages installed on the 2 PC, and align the installation that are now the same, but what should be different of course as the drivers of the graphic card. I changed the drivers of the graphic card, from NVISIA-595-open to NVIDIA-580-open. The task bar has showed up on the firs Wayland session, but as soon as I disconnected, the taskbar did not show up for next connections. Even with a new user. Within the session the taskbar was here, but did not show all applications. I have done nothing with the configuration of the session. 3 PCs all 3 installed with kubuntu have problems with wayland. The problem may come from what is in common with these PCs : - Wayland and KDE, - Kubuntu packaging and configuration. I checked the logs, I will sole the errors I found. I do not know what else I can do. And I am quite disappointed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
