          Priority: NOR
         Component: general

  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
OBS pipewire display capture with Proton games make the games frame times
stutter. At least when everything is in Flatpaks.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have OBS Flatpak and Steam Flatpak or Heroic Launcher and Mangohud
installed.
2. Use the Pipewire display capture in OBS to capture the game that you are
playing displaying Mangohud.
3. When you see the frame time stutter try out right clicking the red dot in
your task bar and quitting the capture and see that frame times get better with
no stutter.

OBSERVED RESULT
When display capture is on with Flatpak OBS and Flatpak Steam game is running
the game itself is having frame time stuttering. The frame times will get
better with killing the display capture from the red dot in your task bar.

EXPECTED RESULT
Using display capture and having frame times be normal and no stutters in games
that are played with Proton.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window): Manjaro
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.26
Qt Version: 6.11.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I have basically almost all my apps in Flatpaks. OBS, Mangohud, Steam, Heroic
launcher and many else.
With Steam and Heroic i have seen the display capture affect the frame times
and stuttering.

I was directed here from OBS Discord. Don't really want to test out GNOME to
see if it's something about Pipewire or OBS itself.
