Hi Tracey,

At least in my case, the problem is solved using the configuration setting you
mentioned ("By clicking on icon or name"). What I don't understand is the
following:

I have 3 PCs, 2 with Linux and other one with Windows:

1. Linux with Dolphin 25.12.2, works OK, option "By clicking on icon or name"
is NOT selected.
2. Linux with Dolphin 26.04.1, only works OK if "By clicking on icon or name"
is selected.
3. Windows with Dolphin 26.07.70, only works OK if "By clicking on icon or
name" is selected.

In PC #1, the option was not necessary, Dolphin works perfectly well, that's
the confusion: Is the option the problem (in v25.12.2) because is it not
working as expected in latest version, or is it just a workaround in v26.04.1?
>From the user point of view the default behavior was changed after an update,
something that should never happen. And I say "was changed" because now I have
to select the opposite option to get the same result.

On the other hand, the behavior with the option not selected in #2 and #3 is
clearly wrong (IMHO). To me it is still a bug (at least for the "Details view
mode", I have never used the other modes, so I don't know the
advantages/disadvantages of both options with them) because you have to click
on an empty space in order to have the context menu related to the current
folder, and something when you have a lot of files, that's not evident (yes,
you can click on the first o last empty columns for that, but again, it is not
intuitive).

Thanks for you time, best regards.
