SUMMARY
When you use keyboard shortcuts (Fn keys) to increase or decrease screen
brightness, the percentage increments are inconsistent. Instead of the expected
5% or 10% increments, the brightness sometimes jumps suddenly by 15%, 25%, or
other irregular values. This makes it impossible to adjust the brightness
precisely.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
1. Use the brightness keys on the laptop keyboard (e.g., Fn + F11/F12).
2. Observe the brightness OSD (On-Screen Display) or the percentage value in
the battery/brightness widget.
OBSERVED RESULT
Brightness sometimes changes in irregular steps.
