            Bug ID: 520743
Summary: Add tooltip and copy link address for OSC 8 hyperlinks
                    to improve security
    Classification: Applications
           Product: konsole
      Version First 25.12.3
       Reported In:
          Platform: Kubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: emulation
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
When I hover over an OSC 8 hyperlink, I should see a tooltip like in
gnome-terminal or when hovering over `echo red`. More fundamentally, the Open
Link and Copy Link Address items are missing in the right-click menu, whereas
they show for normal links.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable Edit Current Profile... > Mouse > Miscellaneous > Allow escape
sequences for links
2. Run `echo $'\e]8;;https://example.com\e\\This is a link\e]8;;\e\\\n'` ,

3. Hover over the outputted "This is a link"

OBSERVED RESULT
Hovering over the link, with or without Ctrl, only causes the link to be
underlined. There is no method whatsoever to show the link destination before
opening it. I can't even right click and "Copy Link Address"

EXPECTED RESULT
It show a tooltip to improve cybersecurity like gnome-terminal. See the
gnome-terminal screenshot in this complaint about ptyxis:
