Often with update bugs like this its good idea to contact distribution first, as they handle the packages. If there is something wrong with the update application, they will likely know and redirect the issue to us. Thanks for the explanation, will close this as "worksforme." You could try sharing this bug with Fedora folk (usually in their chat spaces or forums) and ask if they know more about this bug, and if its something we need to fix.
