DESCRIPTION
Hi, I just had a weird problem with the preview of audio tracks.
I recorded a multi audio tracks .mkv file with OBS, but when I encode it in
KDEnlive, only the 1st audio track plays in the preview. I have 2 audio tracks
: the one from my screen (track 1), and one for my mic (track 2).
When I first noticed this problem, I searched online and could only find one
topic about it, but the answers did not work.
Note that its not the same problem that in this post, cause in preview I can
see that there is 2 audio tracks but I can only hear one. Also, when I put it
in the timeline, then I can hear both audio tracks.
I then changed the settings in OBS so the audio from my screen is on audio
track 2 and my mic on audio track 1.
And by doing this, I can actually hear my mic track, so I guess it only
previews the 1st audio track.
I should precise that in the preview settings, I did verify that both tracks
are enabled and fusing the tracks doesn't solve the problem.
Please help/fix :) <3
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Using OBS 32.1.1, settings for outpout being : .mkv with 2 audio tracks
2. Only one source being screen, with 2 audio sources : Desktop and Mic/Aux. In
Advanced Audio Settings, put Desktop on Audio Track 1 and Mic/Aux on Audio
Track 2.
3. Record anything that includes desktop sound and mic sound
4. Put the resulting file in KDEnlive, try to play it in preview, and it should
only play the audio from desktop, despite both audio track being visible in the
preview.
5. If you record again but with Desktop on Audio Track 2 and Mic/Aux on Audio
Track 1, you should see that now you can hear only The audio from mic.
OBSERVED RESULT
Only one track plays
EXPECTED RESULT
It should play both :(
