However, both the security and category (labelled interest) are both displayed in both display and edit mode. So is the activity type. The blockage is not simply the inability to select the desired category, but the inability to change the transaction type. Do we assume this restriction was simply because the need to do so was just not considered, and editing an investment transaction from the brokerage account simply mirrored the same possibilities as doing to in the investment account?
