            Bug ID: 521466
Summary: Switching between splits is inconvenient
    Classification: Applications
           Product: konsole
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Ubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: keyboard
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

I use Ctrl-Tab (configured for 'Last Used Tabs') shortcut to switch tabs and
splits. It looks like right now (Ubuntu 25.10) it looks at big list of tabs and
splits together and switches between them. For example, if I have three tabs
and 2nd one has two splits, I iterate over 1 -> 2.1 -> 2.2 -> 3 -> 1 -> ...

Usually, for me it's inconvenient. Very ofter I'm sitting on a single tab and
want to switch between splits on the current tab. Ideally via the same hotkey
as switching between tab.

Proposal. Switching always proritizes splits in the current tab. If I visited
consequently all splits in a tab, let's switch to another tab. If I did
something else in the current split (run a command, typed something) then
forget about visited splits and prioritize switching to splits in the current
tab again.

Currently reported from Ubuntu 25.10
