This is inherent to the double-entry design of KMyMoney.  A transaction has a
post date.  If you allowed different post dates for each split, where is the
money between those dates?  If this is ever implemented, it would have to be
done so money always left some account before showing up in a different
account.  However, I can see this as preventing some desired cases, such as
writing a check, where it gets deposited to the recipient account before it
gets cleared from the originating account.
