DESCRIPTION
The virtual keyboard does not show up when navigating to search in Big Screen
mode with a controller. I am using the kdesig/kde-beta COPR in Fedora, assuming
that is up-to-date.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login to KDE Plasma in Big Screen mode.
2. Connect a controller
3. Navigate to search
4. press button to focus the text box that is used for searching
OBSERVED RESULT
Focus goes there, cursor is blinking. Typing on a regular keyboard works.
EXPECTED RESULT
Virtual keyboard should pop up so user can use the controller to search.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window):
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.91
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I also noticed not being able to reassign controller buttons, but that seems a
different feature request or I might have missed some controller relevant
settings
