Hello Nate Graham? Thank you for looking at my report.

I'm a Linux user with 5+ years having used Ubuntu/Mint/Debian/Void. However,
I've been using F44/KDE for less than a month and unfortunately I don't have
any kind of btrfs/timeshift snapshots. Since the install of the F44 all updates
have been applied without issues and everything was working perfectly (I do see
my mistake as I should have taken a snapshot)

- The problem regarding the characters "é/ã/ç/õ" was solved by setting the
"virtual keyboard" to "none"
- I can now control the brightness on my laptop's screen
- I tried both "dnf history undo/rollback" but both return an error about the
protected "plasma-desktop" (which make senses)

My problem is similar to the one in the video below. In his case, his monitor
can be connected but it doesn't work (please don't take his offensive words for
my own, as I don't mean to be disrespectful):

- Video: https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/1u8enbu/need_help/

Mine, however, cannot be connected because if I do, the image appears but
instantly everything breaks and the system simply stops working in a horrible
chain loop of errors and crashes. The lower panel goes away, all apps close and
the backgroud turns black (probably plasma stop at all)

Regarding the "USB monitor and driver" I don't see the hardware as a problem
bcs it was working perfectly before the update to 6.7 and It works fine in a
Ubuntu usb live media.

- My specific "usb monitor driver" can be found here
"https://github.com/displaylink-rpm/displaylink-rpm/releases/tag/v6.2.0-1";
searching by "fedora-44-displaylink-1.14.16-1.github_evdi.x86_64.rpm" (again,
in Plasma 6.5 and 6.6 works fine)

To be honest, what really frustrates me is that I don't know how to
troubleshoot this problem and I don't want to mess more because this is my prod
machine so I really really need proceed with caution.
