DESCRIPTION
Updates in Discover never show any updates or no updates available, only
"Fetching updates..."
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Discover
2. Go to Updates
3. Update checking starts automatically, or click Refresh
4. The status of checking repos is shown, but never any actual updates or "no
updates"
OBSERVED RESULT
Only the "Fetching updates..." UI is ever shown
EXPECTED RESULT
Either the updates list should be shown, or "up to date" messaging
