It's importance outweighs these concerns, though. The dismissal of data with "they do good work" or "they work for free" or anything else along those lines is outrageous. I understand being passionate about a project, but that passion should not give way to bias. If someone is reporting a bug they need not prefix every sentence with "if you could," that would be silly. An issue report should be devoid of politeness and then contain facts and data one after another. The result is not a demand as I hear a lot and it's not a request for a specific solution. I hear these complaints all the time, "The devs are not going to delete the whole project just for you" or whatever overblown solution affixed to a bug report helps no one.
