DESCRIPTION
In a dual-monitor setup, the secondary (non-primary) screen experiences
rendering errors or lag when moving, adding, resizing, or closing windows if it
is positioned vertically (rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise). Conversely, no
such issue occurs when the screen is in a horizontal position (without
rotation).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. You move a window or browser tab to the secondary screen, which is in
portrait orientation (rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise).
2. The tab or window appears to attach correctly (sometimes it doesn't even
adopt the right size and looks visually broken or clipped).
3. When moving the tab or window, it becomes distorted and visually corrupted.
The same thing happens when you try to type or interact with that window or
tab.
OBSERVED RESULT
When moving, closing, or interacting with a window or tab on a secondary screen
with portrait orientation (rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise), the display
becomes visually corrupted, making it practically impossible to work on it.
EXPECTED RESULT
Ensure that when moving a window or tab from a primary screen to a secondary
screen with vertical orientation, it continues to function correctly, just as
it did in version 6.6.5.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window): CachyOS Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
When you set the secondary screen to a landscape orientation without rotation,
everything returns to normal. It is also worth noting that when taking a
screenshot or recording the screen, this error does not show up in the capture,
which I find rather unusual!operation after moving windows and tabs from the
primary screen.
