            Bug ID: 521725
Summary: Press-and-hold blocks certain accented characters to
be entered without it (Plasma 6.7)
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: Plasma Keyboard
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
When the new press-and-hold key feature is active, specific accented characters
(namely ó) cannot be entered without it, ie. when using two character
combination to create it.

Also, it seems to be specific to certain apps, like VS Code (running 1.120.0),
and Google Chrome (latest, with middle click scroll active).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make sure to have the press-and-hold feature active (onscreen keyboard ->
alternative characters)
2. Use one of the specified apps
3. Using Czech keyboard, press the last key before backspace (to create the
accent)
4. Press the o key

OBSERVED RESULT
Only regular "o" character is visible. Have to press backspace twice to delete
it (seems like the issue is with combining the characters into one)

EXPECTED RESULT
"ó" to be visible.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window): Fedora Linux 44
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Disabling the press-and-hold feature fixes it completely. Typing into Kate or
the launcher's search does not exhibit this bug. Same with other accented
characters (when you create the accent while also holding Shift, ie. to create
ř).
