Kwin stack trace
DESCRIPTION
Not sure which component (or really even product) this applies to - I'm
submitting it under Kwin since that's where the stack trace I've got is from.
After updating to Plasma 6.7 this morning, I can no longer use KiCAD's
Schematic Editor. Almost instantly after launching it, KWin crashes and
restarts the entire desktop. This only happens on Wayland, on my primary
desktop PC, when using KiCAD's hardware graphics acceleration. It does not
happen on X11, on Wayland without graphics acceleration (KiCAD has an option to
disable it), and it works completely fine on both X11 and Wayland on my laptop.
KiCAD is version 10.0.3 and has not recently been updated (last update in the
Arch repo was 14. June, about a week ago)
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch KiCAD (KiCAD's project screen works fine)
2. Enable Graphics Acceleration
3. Open the Schematic Editor
OBSERVED RESULT
KWin crashes (monitors go blank for a second, and then I'm put in a new
session)
EXPECTED RESULT
KiCAD works fine

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I don't think it's a KiCAD issue because it has not been updated. I can,
however, use graphics acceleration in other applications (e.g. video games), so
I'm not 100% it's a KWin issue either.
