I have a minisforum v3 which is a convertable tablet. If you take the
keyboard off and only use the touchscreen, the login window will not show the
password prompt unless you use a finger to constantly touch the screen while
typing.
Often if you just start typing with the OSK, the password prompt appears, but
will disappear while you are typing. When this happens it seems that the OSK
input is still being received up to the point that you have to hit enter to
login. You'll need to hit enter once to get the login window to appear again,
then a second time to actually login.
