            Bug ID: 521837
Summary: After updating KDE Plasma to version 6.7, Plasma fails
to launch with Wayland, but still launches with X11
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.7.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: generic-crash

  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION

I have used KDE Plasma with Wayland up to version 6.6. But, after updating KDE
Plasma and logging on via GNOME login manager, Plasma fails to launch with
Wayland (when the option "Plasma" is selected in the list of operating
systems), and in fact KDE components fail and fail and fail without going back
to the logon screen. I had to press Windows key + F1 to return to that screen.

Plasma still launches as normal with X11 (the option "Plasma (X11)"), which I
used only as a fallback.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start the computer and open GNOME login manager.
2. Make sure "Plasma" is selected in the list of operating systems.
3. Log on.
4. Observe how Plasma fails to launch, without automatically going back to the
logon screen.
5. Press Windows key + F1.

EXPECTED RESULT

The expected result is that Plasma launches without issues, just as it did in
version 6.6 and earlier.
