Even if the settings are changed, the sidebar doesn't show a dot for the
changed settings
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Change some default application
OBSERVED RESULT
The setting gets highlighted but the sidebar doesn't show a dot
EXPECTED RESULT
There should be a dot on the sidebar
