Wait a minute, I may be confused. It looks like taking a screenshot using the
direct binding for Capture rectangular region saves the screenshot, regardless
of whether the setting is set in Spectacle. However, if Copy Image to clipboard
is set, the direct binding for Capture rectangular region does _not_ save the
image to the file system, only copying it...

If that's the case, then not saving to the file system by default when
launching Spectacle directly is probably fine. However, I still do think
screenshots should be copied to the clipboard by default: and that also means
the configuration settings in Spectacle itself are a little confusing! If I am
understanding right the behaviour is the following:
- If Save file to default folder is unchecked and Do not copy anything is
selected:
  - Taking a screenshot by launching Spectacle directly will not save a file or
copy the screenshot to the clipboard.
  - Taking a screenshot by Capture rectangular region will save a file, but not
copy the screenshot to the clipboard.
- If Save file to default folder is checked and Do not copy anything is
selected:
  - Taking a screenshot by launching Spectacle directly will save a file, but
not copy the screenshot to the clipboard.
  - Taking a screenshot by Capture rectangular region will save a file, but not
copy the screenshot to the clipboard.
- If Save file to default folder is checked and Copy image to clipboard is
selected:
  - Taking a screenshot by launching Spectacle directly will save a file and
copy the screenshot to the clipboard.
  - Taking a screenshot by Capture rectangular region will save a file and copy
the screenshot to the clipboard.

This is confusing behaviour to me! But, I'm not sure how to improve here. Would
be interested to hear what others think.
