This only exists to reduce usability. Hovering shows that are no gaps between
them.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Drag files between folders in Places, then drop it.
OBSERVED RESULT
There is a hitbox between the folders (and over them, according to what just
hovering there shows), in which when you drop folders there, there will be a
message saying "you can't move files here, only folders".
This is similar to Bug 501849
EXPECTED RESULT
Deactivating that hitbox while dragging files in order to have more space to
drop the files.
