Ive enabled the compose key (right ctrl key in this instance) on Fedora Linux
44 (KDE 6.7.0), which allowed me to create special characters such as é using
Rctrl + ' + e, which is very useful for me, but ive noticed on krita ever since
the new redesigned text tool has been rolled out, it seems to, if i do the
sequence again, put out " 'e ", as if it was done without pressing the
compose key at all. it also seems to disregard any third or fourth level key
bindings (using Right Alt) and instead of the typical input, when i try to
input characters from these levels, it does not input any character at all.
Copying the characters from an outside source and then pasting them into the
text does present them properly, so it is likely from what i know an change
with how Krita now sees keyboard inputs rather than any rendering issues i
assume.
This issue is likely reproducable by enabling the compose key on a KDE system,
or using a keyboard layout that utilize the 3rd and 4th level key bindings.
