if you delete a an entry
Classification: Applications
Product: kmenuedit
Version First 6.7.80
Reported In:
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR

Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
Demonstrative video: https://youtu.be/9v5GMcxsTdA
If I try to delete an entry in KDE Menu Editor, it becomes completely lost and
uneditable to KDE Menu Editor only. It doesn't remove the program from the
start menu or search. You should instead create a new .desktop file in user
directories and use 'NoDisplay=true'. Currently I have no idea how to recover
the editability of these entries.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a menu entry edit
2. Delete it in KDE Menu Editor
OBSERVED RESULT
It is now gone from KDE Menu Editor but still shows up everywhere else
EXPECTED RESULT
The Delete should apply 'NoDisplay=True' to the desktop file. Currently kickoff
doesn't do anything with that variable so that should also change.
