Like Ashley, I also was still having problems after it was reported as "fixed"; I got the update to go through by following Dave's advice (and, like Dave, subsequently experienced a lack of GUI desktop, probably caused by the loss of `plasma-workspace-wayland`) but agree that this should be fixed properly in a way that doesn't require the user to find this bug report and use the terminal.
