DESCRIPTION
Between a few seconds and minutes after starting the session, the active
application becomes the only thing that can be clicked on. All other windows,
their decorations, the desktop, etc. are un-clickable.
I've set the severity to "major" since the workaround for this is to use the
X11 session for Plasma since it's being phased out by distros and will be
removed by Plasma version 6.8. Please let me know if it's not the right
decision.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Plasma Wayland.
2. Wait a few minutes.
OBSERVED RESULT
All other windows, their decorations, the desktop, etc. can't be interacted
with in any way by the cursor (mouse, touchpad, etc.). This can be temporarily
fixed by putting the computer to sleep and waking it up. This issue has
occurred on EndeavourOS, Fedora, and Kubuntu.
EXPECTED RESULT
All applications, decorations, panels, etc. remain usable by cursor.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window):
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.24.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2
The bug appeared around Mar 18, 2025 or up to a month before. I don't know the
exact Plasma version this appeared in, but I know it's between versions 6.3.0
and 6.3.3.
