The Bulk rename window in the Add text mode.
DESCRIPTION
When bulk renaming files with Dolphin you can either;
(A. Enumerate all the files to have same name with a different number.
(B. Add identical text before or after the currently present file names.
I would like to be able to effectively do both. Add an Enumerated number before
or after the currently present file name. I propose a checkbox in the add text
mode that also adds the logic for the enumeration, as in the ## marks.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select 2 or more files
2. Press F2
3. Change to the "Add text" mode
4. Have the desire to add enumeration before file names without removing the
current file name.
OBSERVED RESULT
It is not possible to add enumerated numbers before or after pre-existing file
names
EXPECTED RESULT
The ability to add enumerated numbers before or after pre-existing file names
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window):
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It is possible to do this with say perl-rename, a CLI tool, but it would be
nice if this was just an option for the bulk rename GUI in Dolphin. As a side
note the ability to use wildcards would also be nice but I digress.
