I bought a dock station with an HDMI port and connected it to a USB4 port wired
to the integrated AMD graphics. As a result, both the laptop's built-in display
and the external monitor are currently running on the integrated AMD graphics,
while the discrete Nvidia GPU remains unused. In this configuration, there are
no issues with freezing when the monitors wake from sleep, and overall power
consumption and laptop temperatures have decreased, so I kept this setup as my
main configuration.
