Screen print of the code I was editing when it happened, shows the lack of
swatch or space for it.
DESCRIPTION Title is the bug as observed, in its entirety. Details:
I was editing HTML with an inline stylesheet. Was specifying colors in <style>
tag.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Was editing CSS file, so using CSS syntax highlighting.
2. RebeccaPurple is one of the colors chosen, selected from the suggested text
list (That is, I didn't actually type in the full name. Got to about Rebecc and
hit enter)
3. The name was filled in, but the color swatch didn't appear.
Also, 'About Kate' reports Version "Kate Version 26.07.70" Details as
copy/pasta:

OBSERVED RESULT: Name is recognized (In suggested text list), fills in as
expected.
EXPECTED RESULT A tiny square of RebeccaPurple to show up. It didn't, and Kate
didn't make the little bit of room it needs either. See the attached screen
print.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows 10. It's risky trying to find out detailed version number - Microsoft
is hunting for me to force a Windows 11 upgrade on me. Or to update Edge or
Binge. Or to re-install Copilot, which I terminated with extreme prejudice. Yes
- I'm an AK of AI. And I'll do it again.
