I will leave the technical details to maintainers and devs. But myself, as an user, am left with this: Previously, I was able to set Sundays as the first day of the week regardless of any locale I had. Now I can't. My request is that this functionality to be restored, that is, that we users may be able to set our first days of the week as Sundays regardless of locales.
