I'll gladly support, but I'm not hopeful for outcome - I've seen too many issues rejected by "oh this does not fit my ideal vision or future roadmap of the usecase" - even if everyone else thinks so and don't even respect their own authored XDG standard: https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/24960 Besides that and to emphasize I'm not a fullblown hater, I can't say I'd use another init system. It is more modular than others and because of that, I'm not strictly opposed to the system. The init system itself is fine, its the issue graveyard and never-ending monolith obsoletion factory and extremely narrow-minded opinionsted single-use usecases I'm opposed to..
