DESCRIPTION
I know this is a sensitive topic, and always has been, but recently Chromium
(and with this, Vivaldi) and LibreOffice switched from KDE/Qt file chooser to
GTK, hence I'm filing this request.
That file chooser is very alien in KDE environment. It doesn't have well-known
features like editing a path or undoing an accidental filename change; Enter
doesn't work as expected on the selected file, Backspace and Alt-navigation
doesn't work, it's CSD-themed with an impossible layout (top right and top left
vs. bottom right buttons), no way of selecting other style of listings (grid,
details), its style has a very different padding, etc.
I could go on, but the point is, it's not fitting into KDE environment and
style.
My request is to please hook onto these calls and show the well-known KDE file
picker instead.
