video
Some apps like Vacuumtube, Steam or PCSX2 take over the control of the gamepad
when entered. This is all working fine. However when returning to homescreen
from said app, the control does not return to the homescreen an needs to be
enabled manually. I'm attaching a video to showcase the problem.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Boot into big screen and use a controller as input. The menu is navigateable
and everything works as expected.
2. Open an app that takes over gamepad controls (f.e. steam, vacuumtube or
PCSX2) and the opened app tkaes over control of gamepad, everything works as
expected.
3. Return to homescreen and the gamepad is not controlling the menu, because
the input needs to be enabled manually.
EXPECTED RESULT
Switching between apps and homescreen automatically switches the controller
too. Going to an app, gives it the control. Going to homescreen gives the
homescreen the control back. When switching back to said app again from
homescreen, the control goes back to the app (and so on). App should not be
ended to give back the control to homescreen, since its not uncommon to switch
between apps to check sth.
