Slow resizing of the editor, while the KWIN_USE_OVERLAYS is enabled
DESCRIPTION
When I was testing KWIN_USE_OVERLAYS=1, I noticed that resizing Zed Editor was
slow (shown in the two videos attached). So far I have only noticed that in
that editor.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set KWIN_USE_OVERLAYS=1
2. Open zeditor
3. Notice that resizing is slower

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I've been using KWIN_USE_OVERLAYS=1 for roughly 9 months and I don't think I
encountered this issue with resizing before, so it might be a regression.
Unfortunately, I don't know the specific timeframe where it was working
alright.
