Volume applet displaying the main issue where audio is output to the correct
device, but the original audio device is still selected as primary

DESCRIPTION
When connecting a new bluetooth audio device, sometimes plasma will partially
fail to automatically switch the targeted audio device, causing issues with
adjusting volume.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have an audio output device connected.
2. Connect (or reconnect) a bluetooth audio device (in my case, a pair of
WH-100XM5s)
3. Attempt to adjust volume by keyboard media keys.

OBSERVED RESULT
While audio output is automatically switched to the new device, keyboard media
keys will continue to adjust the volume level of the original audio device,
including outputting the volume changes to the original device, instead of also
using the new device. Volume is still adjustable via manually adjusting the
slider in the volume applet, or in system settings.

There is also an issue where in system settings and the volume applet, the
original audio device remains selected as active via the radio buttons. It is
possible to switch it over correctly to the new device in system settings (at
which point keyboard volume adjustment works correctly), but in the volume
applet, both devices will wind up selected.

EXPECTED RESULT
The primary audio device is automatically set to the newly connected bluetooth
device, and my keyboard volume functions keys begin adjusting the volume of
this audio device.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Fedora Linux 44
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.28.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I don't remember encountering this issue when running plasma 6.6 and earlier.
This bug seemed to only arise around 6.7's release.

If this is relevant, the original audio device in my case is my laptop's
internal speakers with a generic "Ryzen HD Audio Controller Analogue Stereo"
name.
