There are reasons why only allowing password unlock might not be enough.
Sometimes the person feels monitored in some way and inputting the user
account's password might feel insecure. Also the person might lock the screen
frequently, and having to input a password every time can cause friction. The
secret spot is one idea of an alternative unlock, but there can be other forms,
like a button that demands some sort of click rhythm, like a series of clicks
with a certain frequency.
