            Bug ID: 524795
           Summary: render support on split CCX AMD CPU
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdenlive
      Version First 26.04.3
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Rendering & Export

  Target Milestone: ---

have zen1 CPU, with 2 CCX, i have create 2 separate render on two CCX, split
the render which lock each kdenlive to only 1 CCX, these setup perform better
than auto asign by the OS, can you create render support to split the render to
2 file, 2 CCX and than join the final with ffmpg concatenate?
these tile cpu was more common, EPYC, Threadripper alsa need this;
when auto asign by OS, the load only 50 percent;

here are the render time data:
zen1 R7 1700 8 core 16 thread
auto asign by OS
paralel job 2: 17 minutes 11 seconds
paralel job 4: 11 minutes 29 seconds
paralel job 6: 11 minutes 26 seconds
paralel job 8: 11 minutes 29 seconds
==> best at 4 paralel jobs

the same project
i use taskset -c to use only one CCX
paralel job 4: 7 minutes 43 seconds

i hope this ideas give some form of render farm for kdenlive
thx folks
