lokalize GUI
DESCRIPTION
Two suggestions to improve the GUI, particularly for laptop users with limited
vertical screen space:
1) Hide tab bar for a single document
Currently, the tab bar is always visible, even when only one document is open.
This consumes screen space unnecessarily. The tab bar should be hidden when
only one file is open, and appear only when two or more documents are open.
2) Add option to hide the menu bar
The menu bar is persistent and cannot be hidden. For better visual comfort on
laptops, an option should be added to toggle the menu bar on/off (for example
via a hamburger icon or a keyboard shortcut). This would allow users to reclaim
vertical space when needed.
Thank you for considering these ergonomic improvements.
